The development of NDtech® technology involved an investment of 12 million euros, with 6 years of research to be able, through the most precise and innovative quality control technology in the industry, to offer the first natural cork stopper with a non-detectable TCA guarantee*.
The level of precision is impressive: 0.5 nanograms per litre, the equivalent of a drop of water in 800 Olympic swimming pools. This rigour offers an anti-TCA guarantee unmatched on the market.
In just a few seconds, each natural cork stopper is individually analysed and removed from the supply chain if it exceeds the 0.5 nanogram/litre limit. In this way, all stoppers subjected to this rigorous process offer an unprecedented guarantee. With this innovative technology, the risk of a cork stopper contaminated with TCA reaching producers - and consumers - is completely eliminated.
